BRC (British Retail Consortium)

BRC (British Retail Consortium): A global standard for food safety and quality, ensuring that products meet consistent safety and quality requirements for the food industry.

FSSC 22000

FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification): A food safety management system certification that ensures compliance with international food safety standards, often used by food manufacturers and suppliers.

ORGANIC & NON GMO

USDA Organic

USDA Organic certification allows processing facilities to represent products as organic. These regulations typically outline how food is grown, stored, processed, packaged, and shipped to consumers.

Naturland

A certification for organic farming, ensuring that agricultural practices are environmentally sustainable and socially responsible, following strict organic standards.

Non-GMO

A certification indicating that products do not contain genetically modified organisms, often used in the food industry to meet consumer demand for natural products.

MX-BIO-169

The certification of organic products under the Mayacert Ecological Standard in equivalence with regulations (EC) 834/2007 and 889/2008 allows free movement throughout the European Common Market.

JAS Mayacert

JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standards) are the Japanese national standards in the field of agriculture, forestry, fishery and food industry. JAS is established by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

ORGANIC (COREA)

To export organic products to South Korea, producers need to obtain the Korean Organic Certification (KOC), which allows them to label and sell their products as organic in South Korea.

DIETARY COMPLIANCE

KOSHER

A certification indicating that a product complies with Jewish dietary laws (Kashrut). It ensures that the food is prepared, processed, and handled in accordance with these laws, such as using specific ingredients, methods of slaughter, and avoiding cross-contamination with non-kosher items.

HALAL

A certification for products that comply with Islamic dietary laws. It ensures that food and beverages are prepared in accordance with the teachings of the Quran, which includes prohibitions on certain ingredients (like pork and alcohol) and methods of slaughter.

GLUTEN FREE

A certification ensuring that products are free from gluten, suitable for individuals with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

SA 8000

A certification for social accountability in organizations, focusing on ensuring safe working conditions, fair wages, and workers’ rights.

Fairtrade

A certification that ensures products are sourced from farmers and workers in developing countries who are paid fair wages and work in safe conditions, with environmental sustainability.
